The Kia Sedan Lineup: 2025 Model Year Updates
There are two major updates to the current lineup of Kia sedan models. First, the Kia Forte, which has been in production since its 2009 debut, will no longer be manufactured after the 2024 model year. While fans of the Forte will undoubtedly be saddened to wave goodbye, they needn’t be upset for long, as Kia has introduced a new nameplate to replace the Forte: the 2025 Kia K4.
The All-New 2025 Kia K4
The 2025 K4 is the latest Kia compact car to grace the sedan lineup. As with the outgoing Kia Forte, trims such as the Kia LXS and Kia GT-Line are also available under the K4 nameplate. See below for a full list of available 2025 Kia K4 trims and a few feature highlights for each:

The 2025 Kia K5
With Kia ceasing production of the Forte after the 2024 model year, the 2025 Kia K5 is the last Kia sedan we’ll cover in this overview. As a mid-size sport sedan, the 2025 K5 is larger than the Kia compact car we previously explored, but it also features a Kia GT-Line trim in its lineup. Unlike the K4 GT-Line trim, however, the GT-Line under the K5 nameplate can be configured with an all-wheel drive system, making for a sportier ride and more thrilling driving experience in Coopersville.
